    Drop Dravid Down

When India lost the Karachi Test, everyone spoke about wasting Dravid at the opening slot and even cited that as a major reason for losing the Test. This was after he had scored hundreds as an opener in the previous two Tests. I agree, we cannot afford to risk our premier batsman especially when you are too dependant on him. But, why is no one talking about it in the ODI scheme of things? Since 2003, if Dravid has opened and scored 20 or less, India have gone on to lose the match. This, obviously tells us that he is very essential to hold the batting together, which is actually an universal fact. Let Sehwag or Dhoni, Yuvraj or Kaif, Irfan or whoever make runs and be in good form. But, please don't risk Dravid up there - drop him down. You cant expect him to score a hundred everytime he opens or even a 75+ all the time. More than Tests, we have a crisis in ODIs for a good opener, especially with Sehwag's indifferent form. One solution lies in the hands of the man from Mumbai, or should I say shoulders?
