Ind-WI : Warmup match
India is bowling first in the warmup match, and here's the squad *R Dravid, +MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, W Jaffer, M Kaif, KKD Karthik, A Kumble, VVS Laxman, MM Patel, IK Pathan, RR Powar.
Quick thought - VRV and Santh are not included. That means the team management is sure about Munaf figuring in playing XI for first test, esp if we go in with 3+2 combination. Pathan being there goes against the alleged reports of him being exhausted by the end of ODI series. Dhoni playing as a specialist batsman (whether he keeps or not is to be seen) is a very good move. Powar could have been replaced with Santh, unless SS is injured or the team management is serious on 3 spinners. For, no matter how he fares here, I don't expect him to take Kumble or Bhajji's place.
