An optimist's view of the Challenger Series

I am very happy that the Challenger Series gets underway for two reasons.

    1. It implies the Indian domestic cricket season has commenced. Actually the Irani Trophy game starting Oct 1 signals the start of the season. Nevertheless, the Challenger is a close second.
    2. But more importantly, it implies that an Indian side will definitely win a final, unlike many previous one-day series finals

Will there be attempts to balance the sides better and experiment with the batting order etc. in order to get the right combination? About time, isn't it? Especially given that India plays two one-day series, against Sri Lanka and South Africa
