Glamorgan drops Laxman idea and signs up Ganguly

After rumours that VVS Laxman was on Glamorgan's shopping list, the club decided to go with Indian skipper Ganguly.

His first game will be in a week's time. The actual period for which he will stay with the club is subject to the outcome of the BCCI's plan seeking legal opinion to overturn the ICC's decision to ban Ganguly after India's pathetic over-rate at Ahmedabad.
