    How's this for bad luck?

When Ricky Ponting got out at the Kotla a few minutes ago, bowled Sehwag, he became the 13th instance of an Aussie getting out at that score. Try that for bad luck - 13, 87, Aussie ... geddit? No? Ok, then you need to learn more about the linkage.

Clem Hill has got out twice on 87. Is that about as unlucky as it can get? To most Aussies, perhaps. Not for Clem. He had three consecutive scores of 99 (Melbourne), 98 & 97 (Adelaide) in the 1901/02 Ashes!

In any case, there's no reason to believe that Australia are the ones most hard done by when it comes to getting out on 87. England top the list at 18 while India are level with Australia.
