Australia dismissed for less than 300 twice in the game!

Australia were dismissed a short while ago for 195, before lunch on the final day, at Mohali. This meant that they had been dismissed twice for below 300 (first innings score was 269).

The last team to have done this to Australia was, perhaps unsurprisingly, India at the Wankhede in 2004 (203 & 93). Other mentionable tests in the last decade were those against Sri Lanka at Darwin in 2004, New Zealand at Auckland in 2000, West Indies at Kingston & Port of Spain in 1999. It is perhaps a measure of how good Australia were, or how poor their opponents were, that Australia actually won the Auckland test and the Port of Spain test, where West Indies was dismissed for 51!

In fact, I suspect the last time Australia were 1-0 down in a series was after the loss at Adelaide against India, in 2003/04.
