    England's mysterious spinner

When I read the title of Andrew Miller's column, I wondered about who he was referring to. After all, the identity of England's spinner had always remained a mystery to me. I reckoned that Miller was perhaps going to write about Shaun Udal, given his surprise selection for the Pakistan tour.

Turns out that he was actually referring to His Majesty, the King of Spin, Ashley Fraser Giles.

I will revisit Miller's thoughts after the Pakistan series when Giles has a bowling average around 60 and a strike rate in excess of 90.
