    The King of Spin

Adding further fuel to our healthy respect for Ashley Giles, there is a graphic in 'The Times' about the performance of spinners over the last couple of years.

The numbers are extremely revealing. Murali takes nearly eight wickets per test, Warne just over six per test, Kaneria five a test and da maan Giles less than three a test.

Add in stats for some other spinners not in that graphic. Kumble takes over five wickets per test, Vettori over three per test, MacGill over four per test and Harbhajan over four a test as well.

He really must be the King of Spain, because I can't see how he is/was the King of Spin!
