Media gag order only applicable to players and coach?

The declaration by the BCCI President that players and the coach will not talk to the media about the Greg Chappell-Sourav Ganguly spat effectively means that while the main protagonists (or antagonists) in the whole situation are forced to stay mum, everyone else around them, such as BCCI functionaries, can have a field day.

The team manager in Zimbabwe, Amitabh Choudhary has now revealed to the Indian Express that Chappell, Ganguly, Dravid and he had decided to keep the issue of Chappell asking Ganguly to quit. He now chides Ganguly for going public with the story.

When he was asked about whether he thought Ganguly's tantrums and uppishness had irritated the coach, his reply was "Maybe". Aha! So he too feels that Ganguly did threw tantrums and generally acted like a prick boor! One by one the skeletons come out.
