England will be more ruthless as Thorpe gets ready for his ton

After the Lord's debacle and Whatmore's pessimism, England & Vaughan have promised to be as ruthless as the last time and wind up the Durham Test as quickly as possible. This being the case, the result or the man of the match isn't hardly anything to bother about. The only man who would be more excited about this Test would be Graham Thorpe, after he made his 99th Test appearance at Lord's last week. He would be the eighth English men to feature in 100 Tests later today. Rob Smyth pays a fitting tribute to the man who might have tasted lot of successes if playing for some other country.
