I remember Australia not making it to the semis of the ICC Champions trophy 1998 held at Dhaka, after losing to India. Semis line up was as follows:
India vs West Indies
South Africa vs Sri Lanka
In ICC CT 2000, semis line up was:
India vs South Africa
New Zealand vs South Africa
