    Were you expecting any better?

There's a huge amount of discussion, inside and outside Parliament(!), about India's dismal show in the two one-dayers so far. Failing to notch up 100 in the first game, and letting South Africa slip from 76/6 to 274 and losing by over 100 runs yesterday, are both being debated about with a lot of passion.

But seriously, going by India's record against South Africa in South Africa, did you expect any better? I didn't.

Of course, it hurts, when a team you passionately support bats, bowls and fields like schoolboys. Actually hang on, a couple of schoolboys (actually more than a couple!) will take some serious offence to that statement, given their recent feat!

why are the politicians bothered abt india's performance. They don't seem to be bothered about their constituency which is why they are elected for.

I've disagreed with Nirmal Shekar earlier (see here and here), but in yesterday's piece, he was pretty much spot on!
