If its Ashes time, it must be about sledging

Michael Gleeson, in 'The Age', on sledging in cricket. There're quite a few memorable ones told, such as Gough mimicking a ghost while bowling to Shane Watson, Kevin Pietersen also picking on Watson, Steve Waugh sledging himself, etc.

The best one is Darren Berry and Shane Warne sledging Michael Slater in a NSW v Victoria game.
"Warney and I got under his skin big-time in Sydney when we suggested he was a time bomb ready to explode and each time the bowler was about to run in I would say 'tick' and Warney would say 'tock'.

And we kept this going over after over, 'tick, tock, tick, tock', until Slater got fed up, ran down the wicket and slogged it up in the air then turned around and abused us. We just said 'kaboooom'."
Great sledges listed by The New Zealand Herald and BBC Sport.
