    Langer's dig at the Poms

Justin Langer who topscored with 40 in Australia's first innings total on 190 at Lord's, reckons that the English bowlers were good enough during the first day and that he really felt the pressure. But he is quick to add that he wonders if they can continue with the momentum after a real hiding.

He was also quite peeved with the fielders and bowlers when they were apparently not even courteous enough while Ricky Ponting was being attended to after being hit by Harmison.

In his diary, he writes about how the side celebrated the win all the way into midnight. I assume they could party that late into the night because Shane Watson wasn't around.

Incidentally, this is the first time he played in a Lord's test. Given that the next Ashes tour is four years away, it could be the last time as well.
