    Every day a Shivratri

In an interview with 'The Indian Express', Navjot Singh Sidhu (MP from Amritsar) says:
I am up by 3 am everyday and for the next five hours meditate and don't interact with anybody. On Shivratri, in fact, I maintain silence the whole day. I also find it enlivening to go through Swami Vivekanand's philosophies.
If only every day were a Shivaratri, Navjot Singh Sidhu would be out of a job.

Nice timing this though, on the day Shane Warne confirming in his "blog" post Steve Waugh's views expressed in 2004 about Sidhu being one of those who did well against Warne.
Who's the hardest player to bowl against?
The hardest player I have bowled to is Navjot Sidhu. He was terrible - a real violent batsman, aggressive and quick. He wanted to hit me straight away and with very quick feet would come down the wicket and hit it hard back at me. That was his plan - just smash it back at the bowler and even when I did him by changing pace or length his hands were so quick he would still lash at the ball.
For those who don't know, Shivaratri is a Hindu festival.
