Victoria make 344 ... and trail by at least 556 runs
Queensland, runners up in last year's Pura Cup, are well on track to win their sixth title.
Brad Hodge made a century in Victoria's first innings, but Victoria only managed 344. Queensland's response has been chillingly cruel. They're currently 900/6. Five Victorian bowlers have scored centuries. Jimmy Maher and Shane Watson made double centuries, with Watson retiring hurt after his double century.
The total is currently #11 in the all-time highest first-class totals list. 1000 may not be too tough to achieve, given that the trophy is safe and some batting left to follow.
Update: Bugger it. Queensland declared at 900/6. Victoria need 518, in one day, to make Queensland bat again.
