David v Goliath?
In early 1980, West Indies, under Clive Lloyd, toured New Zealand for three tests. It turned out to be a fairly acrimonious series, as this story in the April issue of the Wisden Cricketer indicates. New Zealand won 1-0. It was to be the last time West Indies lost a series in the 1980s.
What the various protagonists (and antagonists, depending on your point of view) did and said makes me wonder about how many matches they'd have been suspended for if those antics had been carried out today.
