    Singin' in the shower

Matthew Hoggard, in his column for 'The Times', writes about how it felt watching an advertisement featuring Michael Vaughan and Andrew Flintoff singing in the shower.

Odd though that he says England lost only three sessions at Mohali.

England were 50/2 at lunch on the first day - session to India. Across two breaks of play, England first reached 120/3 and then 160/4. Given that the final session saw the crucial wicket of Pietersen, I'm tempted to put the score at India 2, England 1 at the end of day one.

England ended day two at 200/5 - One to them, session score 2-2.

England were 280/6 at lunch on day three. One more session to them. England's tail then collapsed, all out for 300 and India reached 50/1 at tea. Session to India. A middle order slump and India were 140/4 at the end of the day. Session to England. Overall score 3-4 to England.

Dravid and Pathan ensure India are within distance of England's total notwithstanding the early dismissal of Dhoni. Session to India. Kumble and Harbhajan [and Munaf] become a real pain, India gets a crucial lead. Session to India. England collapse to 110/5 at stumps. Session to India. Overall score 6-4 to India.

Munaf rips through the tail, England all out for 181. Target of 144 and India reach 28/0 at lunch. Session to India. After lunch, India wrap up the win. Session to India. To me the session score seems more like 8-4 to India.
