    Shoaib Malik bereaved

In an extremely sad development, Shoaib Malik's father passed away yesterday night. Ironic and pitiful that he had in fact returned to Faisalabad yesterday just in case he was needed to bat. Last year, Younis Khan and Naved-ul-Hasan Rana lost their fathers during Pakistan's tour to Australia in 2004/05.

The tour saw allegations of sexual misconduct, Shoaib scared by Langer, Symonds finally making a run, Australia winning convincingly in spite of being in a spot on a few occasions.
