Tendulkar pulls out of ICC Super Series

Sachin Tendulkar, who had been picked in the Rest of the World side for the Super Series in October, announced today that he would not play since his troublesome tennis elbow injury had still not yet healed.

Last week, Tendulkar had been given time until today to confirm if he would be available to be selected or not.

The ICC has refused to confirm if Dheeraj Jadhav would be called up as his replacement.

Tendulkar has been out of action for a while now. He didn't play in a tsunami relief game at Lord's and was not a member of India's tours to Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

At the rate his tennis elbow is causing problems, we could soon hear about Sania Mirza having a cricket knee!
