Skipper Fleming's failures against Australia and Craig McMillan dumped

Australia have managed to totally negate Fleming's influence on the series by dismissing him cheaply so often. In fact he was more or less non-existent even during the series in Australia. Of course, New Zealand will be happy about the fact that neither Warne nor McGrath lived up to their pre-series claims.

There is speculation about how it rained so suddenly during the second test.

Craig McMillan, who averages less than 12 in his last five tests has finally been shown the door. James Marshall, Hamish's twin, has been included, primarily with a view to confuse the Aussies.
