Cricket 24x7 - All the cricket

Breaking/Brief news

    December 17, 2004

Pakistan were blown away for 179 and failed to get past the follow-on mark but Australia, in tune with their recent approach, did not enforce the follow-on and were ahead by 217 runs at the end of the second day's play at the WACA. Kasprowicz was responsible for all the damage, with superb figures of 5/30 in 17 overs. Only Younis Khan managed to make an impression with the bat. Brett Lee can forget about test cricket for the next six months, unless there is injury to any of the bowlers.
