True, but the problem is that the previous 2 instances resulted in a long lay-off. This one seems self-inflicted.
In a hurry to get ready for the IPL, he potentially disregarded the physio's advice on 2 weeks rest. So all he had to do was sit out the first test against South Africa and he'd potentially have been ready for the next 2 tests as well as the IPL.
Now he's missed the tests and will probably miss half the IPL as well!
