What Graeme Smith should have said

After the events during the Sydney test earlier this year, a disgusted Kumble said "Only one team is playing in the spirit of the game", sending all of Australia into a tizzy, for it invoked parallels with Bill Woodfull telling Pelham Warner "There are two teams out there; one is trying to play cricket and the other is not".

After the events at Kanpur Ahmedabad, South Africa's skipper Graeme Smith should have said "There were two teams out there, and only one of them was anywhere close to playing cricket".

You are right. I think the Proteas won because Indians did not play only. Even I cannot wait for the IPL to begin. If you are interested in IPL then you will definitely like IndianFantasyLeague.com, where you can create your own team and win amazing prizes. Registration is completely free

I guess Smith should have ideally said "Two teams turned up for Test but it's the evil spirits which are playing on this track."
