    Afridi clarifies on retirement

Shahid Afridi today clarified that when he meant retirement from test cricket, he actually meant retirement from test cricket for two weeks so that he could get ready for Pakistan's next test series, in England.

Afridi merely continues from where Imran left off, a unique tradition of retirements as farcical as our April Fools' Day prank last year.

The potential loss of the Rs, when Sharyar Khan must have informed him that his contract will now need to be reviewed, quickly unchanged Afridi's mind.

What value does such a player have in a national side, I wonder??

Truly playing for money or for naitonal pride?!!
