    Vaughan to return?

I'm quite certain that England skipper Michael Vaughan, who was forced out of the tour game against the Indian Board President's XI yesterday, will return home to sort out his wonky knee.

A news report on the ECB site confirms that Alastair Cook and James Anderson, currently in the Caribbean as part of the England 'A' side playing West Indies 'A', have been yanked out of that tour and put on standby to join the rest of the main team in India. This is obviously subject to the England tour management and the ECB deciding to replace one or more of the players who're currently down with Baroda bellies and/or Baroda backs.

Mind you, Vaughany Vaughan's knee has had a track record. He missed the ICC Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka. He then had a surgery before the last Ashes series in Australia where he went on to enchant everyone with his superb and graceful batting. During the VB Series that same season, he missed a few games because of that same darned knee!
