    Bye bye to Bangabandhu stadium

A huge piece of Bangladesh cricket history was handed over to football today as the Bangladesh Cricket Board gave up possession of the ground to the Bangladesh Football Federation. The stadium has a special place in Bangladeshi cricket history for it was here that Bangladesh played its
first ever test, Mehrab Hossain scored Bangladesh's first ever one-day hundred, beat India in a one-dayer and won its first test series.
