ICC announces selectors for Super Series

The best players in the world will face off in Australia for the Badruddin Qazi ICC Super Series. The squads will be selected by a selection panel headed by Sir Neil Gavaskar. The series is called the "Johnnie Walker" ICC Super Series, obviously sponsored by that famous Scotch Whisky brand. I find it totally disgusting that an alcoholic beverage maker is sponsoring the ICC's grand game. I probably would have been less irritated if it was sponsored by a consumer electronics giant.

The games are not official internationals. So Warne and Murali will not resume their rivalry in setting new targets. Will McCullum or Sangakkara be the keeper? Will the selectors go by the ICC player rankings? Would their selections have been different seven months ago? Of course, I still cant understand why the test match is six days long!
