    Its Australia v Pakistan

Pakistan won the right to be soundly thrashed in the best of three finals against Australia after defeating West Indies in an entertaining game at the WACA. Youhana scored a wonderful century while Inzamam scored 74 as Pakistan put up 307, which was always going to make it tough. Its fair to say that Afridi had a great impact on the final total since when he came in, Pakistan were 248/5 in the 46th over. When he left, after blitzing 23 in 10 deliveries, they were 279 in the 48th over. Afridi's performance in this series has been a real revelation. He has a strike rate around 170 in this series and he is bowling around 8-9 overs per game for Pakistan, picking up a wicket or two every game and conceding less around 4.5 runs per over. Are we finally seeing a more mature Afridi at last?

West Indies' chase started off badly with Gayle going in the first over. Powell and Lara didnt stay around for too long (although they did score quickly) and it was left to Sarwan and Chanderpaul to bring the innings back on track. After Sarwan got out for a superb 87, Chanderpaul and Bravo followed quickly. Then Browne scored a quick 30-odd and it seemed like West Indies had a whiff of a chance. The rest of the tailenders proved to be inept and West Indies fell 30 runs short.
