In a bizarre decision, the ICC has announced that the relief matches for the tsunami victims are official one-day internationals. In contrast, the one-dayers to be played as part of this year's Super Series will not be official ODIs! Go figure!
Rudy Koertzen and Billy Bowden will be the umpires while Chris Broad will be the match referee. I wonder what happens if any of the players flouts ICC rules resulting in a penalty? I am fairly sure they're not even getting paid for the game in the first place!
