    Duleep Trophy rescheduled

In order to ensure that the Indian players get sufficient first-class match practice before their series against Pakistan, dates for which are as yet unknown, India's premier zonal competition, the Duleep Trophy, has been rescheduled and advanced by ten days. What're the odds that in spite of the rescheduling, only a couple of the national team players end up gracing the occasion? As it is, currently, the likes of Pathan, Zaheer and Agarkar are recovering and have not played for their Ranji Trophy teams.
