Sachin Tendulkar hit a Test century after a long gap of 10 innings and also it came against Bangladesh, still it was special as it equalled Gavaskar's tally of 34 tons.
Earlier in the day, India were in a spot of bother as Dravid and Sehwag did some harm to their batting averages. But, India seemed to be in control when reports came in last on Day 2 with Tendulkar going strong after Ganguly had made a brisk 71.
