    To Malcolm, with love

Late last year, when Malcolm Speed rapped the BCCI on its knuckles over the board's attempts to question the ICC's handling of advertising and TV rights, he pointed out that India had not won any event of note since 1983. Forgetting for a moment the bout of amnesia which resulted in him not mentioning the 1985 World Championship of Cricket or the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy (joint-winners, admittedly), here's one for you, Malcolm.

True, it was only a Twenty20 tournament. The bigger goal should be to become world #1 in tests and one-dayers and have an administration that cares for its players and the spectators. But at this point in time, India has more ICC Twenty20 World Championship tournament wins than those of the other cricketing nations put together :)

Nice post. I've found somewhat informative on this post as well. http://www.cricketviewer.com/skipper-did-a-fantastic-job.html

Great post.. I am sure Malcolm Speed is sheepishly admitting that the Indian cricket team is not "that bad"
