England won't be sitting on their haunches

I'd find it very strange if RP Singh and Zaheer Khan have a similarly good impact on the third test when bowling from around the wicket.

England were obviously surprised and unprepared for that line of attack, much as India were unprepared for Murali's around the wicket strategy in the 2007 World Cup game.

But there's absolutely no doubt that Ryan Sidebottom and a few other left-handed net seam bowlers will be giving England's batsmen enough practice with facing them from around the wicket before the Oval test starting August 9.
