Pakistan's advantage and why India could miss Ramesh Powar

Yes, Ramesh Powar's off-spin is good. But more importantly, consider this. Let's say India does get to the World Cup final, and is chasing a total. The only two chaps to have hit the winning runs in a final were Arjuna Ranatunga and Darren Lehmann!

Similar situation: If Pakistan does get to the final and they're chasing, look at who they can unleash upon unsuspecting opponents - no less than Inzamam-ul-Haq!

So now do you see why India could miss Ramesh Powar?

I'm sure Sehwag has the ability to fill that roll [sic], and probably eat it too.

Well spotted, Geoff. But based on Sehwag's current run of scores, I'd feel very uncomfortable if the job of scoring the winning runs was left to him! :)
