    England on a winning streak

Following India's exploits last month when they won two games in a row after a period of 7 months, England have caught up by winning two in a row (first Australia and then England New Zealand) after a similar gap of 7 months. In June 2006, they beat Ireland and Sri Lanka in consecutive games. Pakistan at Trent Bridge and Edgbaston to draw the series 2-2.
