Whose groin is it anyway?

Bob Woolmer reckons that the reason Rana Naved-ul-Hasan may not be fit in time for Pakistan's test series against England is because he probably has someone else's groin, probably even Ashley Giles'.
It could be Gilmore's groin but we're not sure as there are not many players in Pakistan who have suffered from it. Ashley Giles had a problem with it in the past.I've heard of players borrowing abdomen guards, particularly in league cricket. But why's Rana borrowing Gilmore's groin?
