    Gilchrist contemplates retirement

First, there was news that Gilchrist had been approached to play MLB in the US of A. If that news wasnt heartening enough for captains, bowlers and fielders around the world, Gilchrist's interview to "Inside Edge" magazine where he says that he could be retiring after the 2007 World Cup really would enliven up cricket. More and more young kids, especially in countries like England, West Indies, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh would love to take up bowling as a career, which they have been loath to do because of batsmen like Gilchrist and Sehwag.
