The jury is still out on Jeff

Following last week's announcement that Jeff Wilson was back in the selectors' minds, there is a fair amount of debate currently on in New Zealand cricketing circles on the merits and demerits. Andew MacLean feels that it was the right move and that he could come up with something special. Tama Canning, who was possibly the fall guy feels that Wilson doesnt have it in him to either bat or bowl well at the international level. Chris Cairns goes for the intangibles and feels that Wilson has the belief that makes a champion. Parore though is a little more circumspect and uses a lot of Humphrey Appleby when he says that he thought it was a brave call.
