The ICC's decision announcing that the ZCU had not followed any racially prejudiced practices is totally farcical. It has been blatantly obvious for the past few years that Zimbabwe and South Africa have been following a policy of trying to get integrate black cricketers into the mainstream and they have been doing so by fast-tracking them into the national squad at the expense of better non-black cricketers. Robert Mugabe's government has, over the last few years, followed a policy of dispossessing white farmers of their lands. Guess who is the patron of the ZCU? Robert Mugabe. Funnily enough, the recommendations made by the ICC effectively do confirm that the ZCU's policies were racist in nature. However, the ICC would rather side with a board than the players.
