Breaking/Brief news

Sehwag feels that he can score the first double century in ODIs as long as he stays at the crease for 50 overs. Thats not exactly feasible since the most number of balls he's probably faced in a one-dayer came when he faced 134 balls and made a century against New Zealand in the last league game of the TVS Cup. When he got out, he'd faced 51% of the deliveries bowled. Extend that to 51% of 300 balls bowled and we get 155 deliveries. His strikerate in one-dayers hovers between 100 to 110 a lot of the time so he could end up making around 175 after 50 overs. Against minnow teams like Zimbabwe, Kenya or Bangladesh, his strike rate hovers between 120-130 so he could end up very close to a double century. But with the way he plays, its very likely that he'll play a dumb hoik down deep midwicket's throat when he's on 142(94) against the UAE.
