Breaking/Brief news

    July 30, 2004

Did Pakistan choose not to exercise the option of taking an extra point by opting to defeat Bangladesh in 41 overs rather than 40? I get a feeling there may have been some "fixing" agreed upon by both teams to ensure that Pakistan didn't get 6 points from the game because some influential person had bet bigtime on it. What do you think?
