Breaking/Brief news

    July 29, 2004

John Bracewell's post mortem of New Zealand's tour of England indicates that he felt that the Kiwi batsmen were trying to score too quickly. I dont know where he gets his stats from, but from my calculations, New Zealand scored at a fraction under 3 runs/over in all the three tests combined. That, by modern standards, is abysmally slow. Surely he can come up with a better excuse!
