    Brothers in arms, Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne announced that they were ready for India. Warne seriously feels the need to rectify his record against India, currently at a bowling average in excess of 55. Murali, on the other hand, returns to active cricket after skipping the Australia tour. Both of them will be facing off against India soon, Murali during the Asia Cup and Warne a while later during the tests in India. Murali doesn't really have too much of an issue with Indian batsmen battering him into submission, averaging 28 per Indian ODI wicket. But Warne's test average of 55 is pitiful, and thats being extremely charitable to him. Warne can take heart from the fact that he averages better in India than at home, 52 against 62. I know thats not necessarily enough respite, but still ...
