New Zealand hope to salvage cricketing summer

Following last week's withdrawal by Sri Lanka, New Zealand is looking for means to ensure that international cricket will be played. So they did what everyone does, call India for a series. This is frankly ridiculous, callous and totally insensitive, given that India has suffered, with a total death toll well in excess of 10000. If Sri Lanka suffered, so did India. In any case, given the most recent experience of the Indian cricketers in New Zealand, I am fairly sure they would not have been queueing up to get their passports stamped with a New Zealand visa.
