New Zealand managed to show some improvement and pulled a victory against Australia at Melbourne. Sinclair taking a sensational catch to get rid of Hayden cheaply was one of the highlights of the game along with Kasprowicz's 22 run over when New Zealand needed 32 from 3 overs. The game was played at the Telstra stadium, the spectators' response to the covered roof is quite a mixed bag.
