It is now confirmed that Nicky Boje has pulled out of the tour to India on the grounds that the Delhi police refused to give guarantee that he would not be detained. I admire the Delhi police's action. If cricketers refuse to comply with rules, laws and investigating authorities, in the absence of formal mechanisms to extradite them, it must be the loss of the player's team in not having his services.
