Breaking/Brief news

    July 07, 2004

Isn't it very nice to note that England has been crushed in yet another sport in less than 3 weeks and this time it happens to be our sport of concern. YES !! Chris Gayle took 3 wickets in the last 3 fair deliveries of the English innings and inflicted more pain on England by scoring a small matter of 132 not out. For England, it wasn't a totally dull day until Gayle took charge as Flintoff thrashed 123 along with Strauss who also got his maiden ODI century.

There is one more match of no relevance to be played in this NatWest Series between NZ & WI tomorrow - The same 2 teams will meet again for the Final on Saturday while Vaughan and his men would be confined to playing county cricket or household chores.
