Boycs reckons that Giles' performance at Lord's must give his critics something to think about. It wasnt too long ago, during India's tour of England, that he was ridiculing Giles. I distinctly remember that in the Leeds test when India put up a massive score, Giles came on to bowl when Ganguly was in the 90s and promptly struck a boundary (or two) to get to his century. Boycott said that typically captains would pick the bowler a batsman least fancied when he was close to a century. But Giles was someone any batsman would welcome. Cmon Boycs, stick to your guns. We are! :)
