Cricket 24x7 - All the cricket

Breaking/Brief news

    May 12, 2004

Tanya Aldred fell in love with cricket sometime in the mid 1980s. She recounts some of her favourite moments and memories of the 1985 Ashes series, where England defeated Australia 3-1. If you recall, England followed it up with an Ashes win in Australia in 1987! So Australia losing an Ashes series did actually happen and it wasn't as far back as Bodyline, 1932/33! As Tanya puts it perfectly, its is so much harder to like a game when your team is constantly getting thrashed.
